Programs & Initiatives

Parker's Place Foundation connects older adults and caregivers to trusted resources through outreach, education, and community partnerships. Here is how we bring our four pillars to life.

Smith Station Senior Center 2

Resource Hub

Our Resource Hub connects older adults and caregivers in West Georgia and East Alabama to trusted organizations for transportation, food access, caregiver support, financial awareness, and more. We help people find, understand, and connect with the resources already available in their community.

Community Education

We offer education on topics like fraud awareness, financial wellness, life planning, and healthy aging. Our goal is to help older adults and caregivers make informed decisions with confidence.

Wellness & Safety Outreach

Through events and outreach visits, we bring nutrition support, wellness resources, and fall prevention education directly to older adults in rural and underserved communities.

Caregiver Connections

Caring for a loved one can feel overwhelming. We help caregivers find support, resources, and a path forward so they do not have to navigate it alone.

Aging-in-Place & Home-Safety Initiatives

Our Safe at Home Fall Prevention Program (launching 2027) will focus on home safety education, fall prevention, and minor home modifications that help older adults stay independent. We are building partnerships now to expand access to these resources.

Community Events

From our Connected to Thrive Senior Wellness Expo to seasonal outreach at local senior centers, our events bring community partners together to make resources accessible and build connection.

  • Rooted in Community. Connected to Thrive. Every program we offer starts with one goal: helping older adults and caregivers find the support they need, when they need it.
