How Parker's Place Helps
Parker's Place helps older adults age 65+ and their caregivers in West Georgia and East Alabama find, understand, and connect to trusted resources already available in their community. We help people thrive by connecting them to what already exists.
Our Approach
Parker's Place Foundation uses resource navigation, education, outreach, and partnerships to guide older adults and caregivers toward the right support, then we follow up to make sure the connection worked.
Our Four Pillars
Connect
We build relationships and reduce isolation by linking older adults to community resources, transportation, caregiver support, social connection, and trusted referrals.
Protect
We share fraud awareness, financial wellness, and legal and life planning resources so older adults can make informed decisions with confidence.
Thrive
We support whole person wellness through nutrition, preventive wellness, emotional well being, creativity, and healthy aging education.
Live Safely
We help older adults age safely and independently at home through fall prevention education, free home safety assessments, minor home modifications, and emergency preparedness resources.
For Older Adults
If you are age 65 or older, we help you find the resources and support you need to live independently and well, with dignity and connection.
For Caregivers
Caring for an older adult can feel overwhelming. We help caregivers navigate options and connect with trusted resources, so no one has to figure it out alone.
