About Parker's Place Foundation
Rooted in community, connected to thrive. Parker's Place Foundation is here to help older adults and caregivers find the support they need to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
Our Story
Parker's Place Foundation was built on a simple belief: aging adults 65+ should never have to navigate growing older alone. We started by listening to older adults and caregivers in West Georgia and East Alabama, and we built our work around what they told us they needed most.
Our Mission
To empower adults 65+ in East Alabama and West Georgia to age in place with dignity, safety, and connection. We are rooted in compassion and committed to building communities where every older adult has the dignity, support, and resources to live independently and well.
Our Vision
A community where every older adult feels supported, connected, and confident in their ability to age well at home.
Our Four Pillars
Connect
Community resources, transportation, caregiver support, social connection, and trusted referrals.
Protect
Fraud awareness, financial wellness, legal and life planning, and resources for informed decisions.
Thrive
Nutrition, preventive wellness, emotional well-being, creativity, and healthy-aging resources.
Live Safely
Minor home modifications, fall prevention, education, free home safety assessments, and emergency preparedness.
